Magus GeoPS

The MAGUS Geosensor Protector System (Magus GeoPS) is an advanced outdoor Perimeter Intrusion Detection System (PIDS) designed to identify and locate intrusion attempts within protected areas by detecting soil vibrations caused by human activity. Seismic sensors are employed for vibration detection.

This concealed security system operates discreetly, providing early warning alarms to deter intruders. Magus GeoPS consists of sensors, Processing Units, and a Software Management Platform, offering versatility with mains or battery power. It functions autonomously or integrates seamlessly with other alarm and video security systems through the Magus Command & Control platform (Magus CC) or other PSIM platforms.

Utilizing Artificial Intelligence algorithms, MAGUS GeoPS detects and categorizes various activities such as footsteps, vehicle movements, and animal presence. It issues alarms when an intruder or vehicle approaches the protected perimeter, accurately pinpointing multiple simultaneous intrusion events.

How it Works:

Vibration signals received by the Magus GeoPS Processing Unit (MGEOPSU) are analyzed to generate alarms for footsteps, vehicles, digging, tunneling, or other activities above or below ground. The Artificial Intelligence algorithm identifies and classifies alarms based on vibration type or pattern. Over time, the system learns the environment, enhancing accuracy and reducing false alarms.

Typical Applications:

  • Small/Medium/Large Industrial Facilities
  • Power Plants
  • Military Facilities
  • Critical Infrastructures
  • Residential Areas

Magus GeoPS is designed to withstand harsh weather conditions and can be installed in various soils and terrains. Its detection accuracy remains unaffected by vegetation, wind, or rain, ensuring reliable performance.
